In October, Northern Virginia, Central Virginia, and Hampton Roads saw increased home inventory year-over-year, offering more options for buyers. Northern Virginia reported a 7.5% rise in home sales and a 4.9% increase in median price to $750,000. Hampton Roads had a slight sales decline but a 2.26% price increase to $362,000. Central Virginia saw a small drop in single-family sales but higher pending sales and a median price rise to $415,000.
